Please watch this video we've prepared to answer your questions about our reopening plan.

Our Sunday gatherings are designed to create a safe, sanitary environment that allows for physical distancing. Due to government restrictions limiting attendance to 15% of our capacity, we are offering two gatherings at 9:00 and 11:00 AM.
To register, select the gathering you would like to attend, complete the simple health screening questionnaire, and sign up. Registration opens on Wednesday mornings.

Will you continue to offer online Worship Experiences?
Yes! Our worship gatherings will be livestreamed on Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 AM on YouTube, Facebook (Parkwood Windsor), our church website and app.

Why do I need to sign up?
Guidelines set by the provincial government limit attendance to 15% of our auditorium capacity. In order to comply, signing up helps us monitor the number of people attending each gathering to ensure that we stay within our capacity limit.

What type of safety precautions is the church taking?
Our staff and volunteers have been trained in health and safety practices. We are following social distancing guidelines and we are diligently sanitizing high-touch surfaces throughout the building. More on that below.

When should I arrive at church?
Please arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before gatherings, and don’t linger or congregate in the building before or after church in order to allow us time to properly clean and disinfect before and after gatherings.

Where will I enter?
Only the front entrance (facing the expressway) is open to guests entering the building in order to help us monitor and check in guests and maintain safe social distancing practices. Interior doors remain open at all times to avoid having to touch door handles. Our goal is to provide you with a touch-free experience as much as possible.

Will I receive a wellness check as I arrive?
No; however, you will need to complete our simple health questionnaire when you register, and we are asking you to worship from home if you have any symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or contact with anyone confirmed to have Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

Do I need to wear a face mask?
Yes. All guests ages 2+ are asked to wear a face mask for the duration of our gatherings in compliance with the provincial legislation, but we understand that for health and safely reasons, it may be necessary to remove your mask temporarily while maintaining safe social distancing.

What type of social distancing can I expect?
Main floor auditorium seating has been rearranged to ensure social distancing. Families in the same household are encouraged to sit together, but we ask that you leave 3 seats between you and the next person/family in your row. In the balcony, some pews are closed off and we ask that you leave 2 meters or 6 feet between your family and the next person/family in your row. Our ushers will assist with seating as needed.

What type of sanitization can I expect?
Before, after and during gatherings, our custodial team diligently sanitizes the auditorium, door handles, high-touch surfaces and restrooms. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout the building and you are strongly encouraged to use them!

Are the restrooms open?
Yes, our restrooms are open and are continually cleaned and sanitized; however, we ask that you only use them if absolutely necessary.

Is the cafe open?
The café and coffee carts are not open at this time as recommended by the local health unit.

What about my kids?
There are no Sunday kids and youth programs or nursery available at this time, but your children are welcome to attend church with you if you are confident that they can sit with you and maintain social distancing. Activity packets are available for kids at the check-in desk to help keep them engaged. A Moms Room is available for nursing moms and a Wiggles & Giggles room where parents can take their toddlers who need a break to wiggle and giggle. Our gatherings are livestreamed in both rooms, so you won't miss a thing.

What about other groups or programs in the church?
During this stage of reopening, our midweek youth programs are operating, but no other programs are being held in the church at this time.

What other changes can I expect?
We no longer pass the plate to receive your offering. Donation boxes have been installed next to all exit doors in the auditorium for your convenience. You can also give online (click GIVE on the homepage for information), mail your donations or drop them off in our mail slot at the church's west entrance.

On Communion Sundays, we no longer pass trays to distribute the emblems. Instead, packaged communion cups are placed on each chair/pew for your convenience.
