What is Alpha?

We believe that everyone should have the chance to explore faith, ask questions, and share their point of view.

Alpha is series of eight interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question and is designed to create conversation. There is no pressure, no follow-up, and no cost. It’s just an open, informal and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.

What does an Alpha session look like?

What to Expect

Connection

Each 2–2.5 hour session begins with a time of connecting over dinner, giving participants a chance to meet one another and settle in.
Content

After connecting, there’s a talk on a topic central to the Christian faith. These talks explore the big questions of life and faith, covering topics like “Who is Jesus?” “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?”
Conversation

Finally, participants gather in small groups to discuss the talk. These groups provide a safe and welcoming space where everyone is free to ask questions, share thoughts, and explore faith together.
